“Was scheduled for an initial recruiter screen but was pushed directly to the hiring manager interview without any notice or explanation — the recruiter was apparently out. Went into the interview unprepared for that level of conversation. After the interview I sent a follow-up email asking if there was anything I could clarify or expand on given the circumstances. No response to the follow-up. No LinkedIn acknowledgment. Received a generic denial letter days later with no context or feedback.”
